I co-founded écoute audio with Kendal to bring a different listening experience to over-ear headphones: a real vacuum-tube preamp and dual-mono amplification, built into the headphones themselves.
A physical product built around sound
écoute combines the character of a vacuum-tube preamp with the convenience of personal audio. The product brings elements of a home hi-fi system into something you can wear.
From TH1 to TH2
The first model, TH1, launched in 2023. TH2 builds on that work as the next generation of écoute headphones. The official écoute website has the current product specifications and availability.
Building our own brand
After years of developing products for other companies through MorphoMFG, écoute became an opportunity to apply that experience to a brand of our own. Product development and manufacturing sit alongside the work of bringing the headphones to listeners.
